The Ramayana tells us that lord Rama come back to Ayodhya after fourteen year of exile. The people of Ayodhya were very happy on this day. They illuminated every part of the city. Diwali means victory of light over darkness. In other word, it is a victory of good over evil.

It is also a festival of sweets. The shops are nicely decorated. People were clean and white wash their homes. On this day, people gives presents, sweets, fruits, toys to kids for the aim to happy everyone.
At night there is fun and frolic all round. People light candles and earth lamps.They arrange them beautifully. Cities decorated like a newly married couple. In India every small to big house lit by earthen lamps. Previously. children do lots of firework which create huge amount of pollution result effects the environment badly. In order to reduce the pollution, Government of India made lots of environmental protection policy to control the environmental pollution and check the levels of pollution.

People worship Lakshmi at night. They pray for happiness and solider who scarifies his life in border to protect our mother land. Some people do lots of gambling, illegal activity which is not good.
In Last, "I request you to all. Please don't burn fire crackers in this Diwali because pollution can make it difficult to recover COVID-19 patients". Already they are going through very hard time.
