Let’s suppose that I am a manager of Honda showroom. Last, week our Honda human resource told that people with alcohol problems have a medical problem, and they need care not termination.
After 7 days, Mr. Rajinder who is an employee of the Honda come in a morning with full drunk. He picked a half bottle of whisky. As, a manager I have many different situations to handle this matter of Mr. Rajinder.
First of all, I ask another employee to get the Rajinder in guest room to take a sleep because he was drunk in the morning. Generally, I guess that due to some issues he was done that work. When Rajinder wake up and apologies for the matter. I will come to Rajinder, politely ask is something wrong with you. You need some help like financial help, to come out of bad society.
1 scenario: If he need money then, I will give an opportunity to do overtime and get some more salary. If he wants some amount urgent, then I will help him to get a loan from bank by showing his ability and my witness.
2 scenarios: If Rajinder falls with a wrong society of friends, then I will help him to pickup from home and drop his home everyday with a motivate to do hard work and become like me as a manager in future.
3 scenarios: Let’s suppose Rajinder return back to his schedule work, but in his mind whisky thought were come. In this case, I will ask him to take a little one sip in front of me like a medicine in a 3-4 times in a week. This will help him to stop drinking alcohol.
4 scenarios: But his thought will come again and again while working on system, then I will shift his duty to engage with customer and tell the specifications of Honda car. This will change his thought and he will indulge with customer.
5 scenarios: To increase the moral of Rajinder more, I will praise him every day in front of another employee in such a way that he will improve themselves.
